Brain in a dish

This is some crazy stuff. Scientists have hooked up some neurons to a flight simulator and "taught" them to fly. Not sure how they tell the neurons if they are doing the right thing. Angela speculates:

they might have it wired so that serotonergic neurons fire when the network gets it right
